The Rustler vxl is an wonderful RC car. Even with the included 7cell nimh battery, it is extremely fast. Upgrade to a 3s lipo, and the speed is insane!
It is also very strong. Most crashes cause in no breakage whatsoever, or slight damage that costs in less than $10 to repair.
I've had mine for about 1 month, and still lovin' it.
Don't even think about getting a brushed electric car. This is the ONLY way to go...
Excellent Buggy. I love it. Recently upgraded to a LIPO battery pack, and that sucker is fast. If you crash a lot, like me, replacement parts are at reasonable priced.
I would recommend anyone to purchase a fast LIPO charger right off the bat. You will probably, eventually want to upgrade to a LIPO battery pack in the future, and the LIPO chargers will also work on the battery pack that comes with the car. If you spend a slight extra now, you will be set in the future. The fast charger I bought early on did not work with LIPO batteries, so I had to shell out some more for another charger.
